Swimming

Tiff invited us to go swimming with them last week! It is so much fun to swim at a private pool. In fact, with all three of the boys, I'm not exactly sure how we are goint to make Cherry Hill work... But we will figure it out!

Porter's Tubes... The 2nd round.

Well... I guess my kids are destined to ear infections, and in turn... TUBES. This is Porter's 2nd set, so they took his anoids out as well. He did great! In fact, he was playing outside an hour after we got home. Kids are so much tougher than us old folks.

Busy, Busy Saturday...

Today was Porters last Soccer game for the season. He did great, as he seems to always do. In fact he scored so many goals I lost track. I think we might have one star athlete on our hands... at least his mom and dad think so! After the game one of his team mates had us all over for a pizza party! I'm a little sad that soccer is over, but it will be nice to have a Saturday without it!

We had to leave the soccer party early to make it to PRESCHOOL GRADUATION. His class had such a great program all ready for parents and grandparents! Porter was a little wild, but I was proud of him anyway. He was one cute preschool graduate!

Right after preschool graduation he got to go to Hunters Birthday party, and then to Chuck E Cheese! What a day. Trace and Roc were troopers throughout all of Porters activities!

I am the Cure, I am the Cure...

Hooray for fun races! This past weekend I went back to Salt Lake for a quick 5k. It was the Race for a Cure (breast cancer awareness and fundraiser). I've been wanting to run this for the past few years, but something keeps coming up, and I haven't made it down until now. I drove down with Marla, and we were planning on meeting up with Kriste and Jodi. When we got there we realized that we had to park a little ways away and we didn't want to carry a cell phone with us, so we never did see them. It was such a fun day, I hope to make it a yearly traditions. We think next year we are going to get a little team together... So if you have any great Booby names, let me know. (I think my favorite name we saw was "Save 2nd base"!)

And so it begins!

We have been so busy the last few weeks... so here is a quick recap. Porter is finishing up preschool with lots of fun activities. They seem to go play at the park whenever possible. His graduation is on the 16th, so he has been busy getting ready for that. Yesterday he had an end of year party at Classic Skating. We got his Kindergarten stuff back from the school. "A" Track, and our first choice for teachers. We are so excited. (and I must admit, a little worried!)

Today Porter went to the zoo with his friend Lincoln. He had so much fun. His favorite part was the train ride... He says the turkey volchers and bald eagles were way cool. (He just asked me to add that his 2nd favorite things were the Bisons.) I'm hoping that Anna took some pictures for me to add later. When he was getting ready to leave Trace started to cry and asking for Porter to stay home. When we came back inside he asked if he go to play group or to Mayci's, or somewhere to play. Here is an example of our daily life:
Trace: I'm going to ride my bike to my friends house.
Me: No
Trace: Why
Me: Because you are two.
Trace: Me not two, Me five.
He is so much fun.
Both boys are loving playing outside. I'm having a hard time getting them to come inside for anything. I must say, I have a hard time coming in too. The weather has been so nice, and the kids are playing so good with all the neighbors. Its been fun watching them come one by one until there is a big group at the end of each day!

Roc is almost 8 months old now. I need to take more pictures of him soon. He is moving around a bunch, but still not really crawling. Still no teeth, but I think he might be working on that. He's a happy baby, and loves to watch Porter and Trace do whatever they are doin!

Today I spent the day gardening... I'm not sure why I have enjoyed this in the past. It's pretty creepy. First I saw way too many worms
-YUCK-, then I interrupted an ant farm -YUCK, YUCK-, (there must have been 1,000 of them, they were everywhere. Some of them were carrying around some sort of egg or larva something.) And last but for sure not least a SNAKE! YUCK, YUCK, YUCK... CREEPY! But the good thing is it is done, and the reward of a pretty yard must be worth it, right? Or why else would I do it. I like the Vegetable garden better. This year we are growing the usual... Zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, green peppers, and pumpkins. We are trying a bunch of new things too. Peas, carrots, potatoes, onions, and lettuce. Most of these "new" things were planted about a month ago, and are doing pretty good! Yeah for summer...

And to top off a busy two weeks, I have been trying to survive a long distance relationshlip! Last week Chad went to Florida for work, and this week he has been in NY! I can't wait for him to come home... and stay home... for awhile.
