Grandpa's 24th Bash

Steve always puts on a big party for the 24th of July. He turns his back yard into a water park... and the kids are in heaven for the day.

We Play on the Water slides.

And on the Slip and Slide
Have a great Lunch
And afterwards, Grandpa has a whole bunch of Fireworks. The brothers always have fun planning the show! See how proud they are? This year Porter wanted to "invest" in the show, so he contributed his money to the fireworks.

And to top off a great day...

Shawn took this great picture!

Fireworks

We were planning on going camping over the holiday, but our air conditioner decided to stop working. We decided to go stay over at Steve's and Janet's instead... So we could figure out what to do with the air. (It's fixed now, we think it must have froze.) I talked Janet and Steve into coming to the fireworks in Bountiful with the me and the boys. It was a great show... Chad missed all of the fun, so that he could practice shooting his bow. The count down is on until his big hunt now!!

There were a ton of people there, so it was a huge surprise to end up right by Brain and Alissa, and Brett's family!

New Baby Charlie...

Our great friends Tiff and Jolley just had a new baby! Charlie. He is so cute, and we are so excited for a new friend for the boys. It won't be long before him and Roc are great buddies! Today the twins are here to play, and try to give Tiff a little extra rest. The boys love to have friends over. Porter has been working on his back hand springs, and back flips. After Logan watched Porter do it one time... He was ready to try himself. Pretty impressive!!

Calls Fort

Last night Calls Fort had a public ski night... It's such a perfect ski lake, we couldn't miss the opportunity. Chad is getting better and better at the course. Last night he got all 6 balls at 30 MPH at 15 off! Way to go... Maybe one of these days we will be able to do the tournament again. (Not this year, because it is the same weekend as his elk hunt.) We all went and played in the water and sand while we watched him ski... We even got to take Audrey with us. What a fun night!

More Swimming lessons

Last week Porter and Trace had swimming lessons. This was Trace's first week of lessons, and he did great. He is still a little timid, but is doing better and better. Porter is a fish! He can swim so good now, and loves doing it.

And here is cute Roc, Watch'n his brothers swim!

This year we spent the holiday up to Grandpa Lee's Cabin. The Cabin is full of lots of memories, and I love creating new ones each day we spend there. This year we played hard doing all of our favorite things:

FISHING

CHAD, JOSH, AND I ARE HOPING THE FREEDOM RUN DOWN THE CANYONG WILL BECOME A NEW TRADITIONS IN THE YEARS TO COME. WE THOUGHT IT WAS A 10K, BUT FOUND OUT IT WAS A 15K A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE, SO EVERYONE ELSE BAILED OUT QUICK. NEXT YEAR EVERYONE WILL BE READY!

SHOOTING THE BOWS

The boys have been planning on selling Otter Pops at the fire works for weeks now. When we got home from the cabin, we realized that the freezer wasn't working in the garage, and the otter pops weren't frozen. The kids were bummed so we decided to get some pops for them to sell instead. I thought it was such a great idea, but it seems everyone else had the same great idea! Everyone and their dogs were selling otter pops and drinks! Oh well... the boys had fun.

And thanks to family and friends... Porter made a few bucks.

WE WENT TO KAYSVILLE'S FIREWORKS AGAIN... THEY WERE GREAT!

Here are some cute pictures of Brian and Trace. They were great friends all weekend. Thanks Brian for all your help. Trace loves his uncles!
