Halloween Hoot

Tiff had the funnest carnival for the kids this past weekend. Talk about over the top!! I loved being there, and seeing all of her fun ideas. The kids made spiders, decorated "creep cakes", fished, bobbed for apples, made masks, drank homemade rootbeer, and played tic tac toe with pumpkins and gords!!

Trace's Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Trace's preschool went on the same field trip as Porters did last year! It was so fun, and this time Porter got to come with Trace! It ended up to be great weather, and all three of the boys had a blast. There are so many fun things to do... Besides learning about the farm, we also played on big slides, rode a train, went threw a small corn maze, and played on the tires.

Our Pirate Expedition...

Ahoy Matey's. Come along with us as we try to find Cap'n Jack missing treasure. Saturday night we had the best time as Neighbor friends trying to find the miss'n treasure. Kriste, Marla, and I had so much fun planning this pirate party. We spent lots of time making sure everything was perfect. Everyone had a great night!! I can't wait to plan next years!

Cousins Girl Night

Another year of fun with the Hansen girls. Every year we get together for lots of laughs. This year we headed up to Logan for dinner at Texas Road house, and then spent the night at the cabin. What a fun tradition.

Remember Trace's hat show?? Here is ours...

Dinosaur Park

Last Week I decided to take the kids on one more outing before Porter went back to school. Guess what they picked... DINOSAUR PARK. It's funny though, it seemed liked they were mostly interested in the Park. I don't usually like to pay to play at the park. We quickly walked through the museum and then the dinosaur park, then quickly ran to the park part. We spent 90% of the time here. I guess when you go with friends, all they really want to do is play. I'll try to remember this next time! It's always fun to be with friends, especially this time of year. I'm loving this weather.

A Perfect Fall Day...

Yesterday was the perfect fall day for me. The weather was fantastic... Sunny, but a little chilly. I took the kids on a hike up Adams Canyon. They did pretty good, but we didn't make it to the waterfall. I had Porter wear his new hunting boots for the first time, and they started giving him a little blister. Trace was tired pretty early, so I ended up carrying him on my shoulders for the second half. We stopped to take breaks when ever the kids wanted one, and they wanted them often. Not only because they were tired, but so they could look for bugs, rocks, and leaves! We had a fun picnic in the shade by the stream. Roc loved being outside, and laughed everytime the wind blew in his face! The leaves were so pretty, the sky was a deep blue, and the river was running at the perfect pace. I think if Chad was with us, and could help carry one of the boys we could make it all the way... Hopefully we will get another day like this one!

After nap time we went to Tiff and Jolley's for dinner, and then to the pumpkin patch. We love spending time time with the Garners and Sundloff's. The kids get a long great, and we always have lots of great laughs!
