Sell 4-23

It's almost time to go back to school, but before we do there are still a few things left we HAVE to do... One of the things that is always on the top of the boys list is a sale. So today we went to smith and bought punch for the boys to sell to the kids coming home from school... they always love it, and always get quite a few HELPERS...

Roc can Ride with no training wheels... 4-23

Seriously this kid is unbelievable.  He has been wanting to ride his bike now for a few months, but I kept telling him no.  One day I decided to take the training wheels off and let him try.  I don't feel all that good, and the thought of helping him learn was a little too much, but I can't keep putting it off!  So after a few failed attempts, he wanted them back on.  After a few days of on and off, I decided they were staying off this time.  We went to classic fun center one day, and I bribed him with tokens every time he would try.  By the time we left, he was doing pretty good.  Over the next few days we got it!  Way out of control, but he is riding by himself and loving it.  He usually uses the grass to stop himself, but if a boulder gets in the way first he just rams into it!  Funny stuff.

Update (5-5-12):  He is doing so good now. Tonight we went to the soccer park and let him practice starting on his own.  He figured it out after a few GRRRRR's.  We were down kicking goals with the big kids when all of the sudden we here: "here comes Rocket".  He came flying down the grass hill with a huge grin on his face.  The kid is HILARIOUS!

Zoo 4-20

After a fun week in St. George we decided the weather was perfect for a trip to the zoo. Porter was thinking he might be too old for the zoo, and complained about going, but once we got there - they ALL had a blast. One of the best zoo trips ever. The weather was perfect. The kids were so interested in all the animals, and we had to pull them out after three hours!!

Syracuse Easter Egg Hunt 4-7

My kids look forward to the community Easter egg hunt every year. The fun starts at 10 AM and ends at 10:01. They always get excited before the horn blows.

St George Off track #1 4/2-5

We love being off track, and we love our off track trips to St. George!! So we decided to start our 5 weeks off right!

Conference Weekend 4-1

Conference weekend wasn't as relaxing as normal. With our extremely busy Saturdays, we pretty much had to miss the Saturday talks :(... but Sunday was wonderful. The talks were great, the couch time was priceless, and spending the whole day with our family is the best. In between sessions, Roc and Chad had a little rest, while the boys and I made baby girl bracelets. After a few baby ones, the boys thought they should make bracelets for Mayci and Preslie. 
What a day!!
