Back to School 7-25

WOW... It's back to school for us A trackers already.  This is by far the shortest summer we have ever had, and I'm not ready for it to be over.  We had so much fun, and could easily have a few more weeks of sunshine and summer before it's back to the grind we call life.  Ready or not though...

SCHOOL STARTS TODAY~

I walked the boys to school today for their first day of their new grades.  Trace is in first grade, and has to go all day!  He is so excited.  His new teachers are Mrs. Adams and Mrs Thomas.  I'm sure he is going to have a great experiences, and learn and grow up so much.  I miss him like crazy during the day :(, I just don't see why school has to be so long!  Porter has Mrs Baur, and couldn't be more excited.  We traded him out of another class so he could have "the coolest teacher in the whole school".  He is with a bunch of friends, and I just hope they can handle all being in the same class room!  He is so brave, and growing up so fast too.  I'm one proud Mom right now!

24th of july

We love our annual 24th of July party at Grandpa Hansens!  And most of all... We love getting to spend time with these cute kids.  Best Cousins, Best Friends!

Another Fun 24th Party and Grandpa's. We love hanging out with all Steve's family. Chad has so many fun cousins. The kids played in the water ALL day, and never got tired of each other. We had great food, great company, and great Weather. If only Chad would have been there (He has scout camp all week) it would have been another perfect day!

National Champions! 7/18-7/22

Porters basketball team is a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP Winner! We got invited to a big tournament in Las Vegas. We packed up Wednesday night and drove to St. George. The tournament started at one on Thursday, but Chad was out of town, and I decided it was much nicer to stay at Janet and Steve's the first night since Chad couldn't be with us. Thursday morning we packed back up and headed straight to the game! Chad flew into Vegas Thursday night - and I was SOOO glad he was able to make it. Vegas is crazy, and even crazier for a 7.5 month pregnant mom with three kids! Porters team went undefeated through all the tournament and won 1st place! There were tons of great teams, and we had to fight back in one game really hard. Porter got lots of playing time in the first three games, and even got a little playing time in the championship game. He is back in the swing of loving basketball! Vegas isn't my favorite place to take my family... In fact, I don't see us going back anytime soon - or ever. But we are glad we went and Porter had the opportunity to play in such a big tournament. My camera got stolen at the pool :(, so I am missing a couple of fun pictures from the weekend, but here are the ones I took from my phone.

3V3 7-7

5 of the players from Porters soccer team decided to enter a 3V3 tourney. Seriously FUN! They started out a little weak... just trying to figure the strange rules out. But they fought back hard and ended up taking 2nd! It was a long day (5 games), but well worth it.  Chad even got to coach him.  We can't wait for the next one.

Charlies summer party 7-6

Tiff planned another FUN party! We love swimming at the sundloff's pool, and add a lot of fun people, fun decorations, and yummy food... you can bet on a fun night!

More Celebrations! We invited a few friends over for our neighbors BIG show. It didn't disappoint... bigger and better than ever!

July 4th

Happy 4th of July!!  We woke up early to make it to the cabin for 4th of July breakfast.  It was delicious as always.  It was so fun to spend the day playing in the river, playing games, catching hummingbirds, and enjoying family.
