Zoo Filed Trip 9-28

Trace had his first Kindergarten field trip... we got to ride the BUS to the ZOO! His buddies - Kaden, Fischer, and Logan were in our group. We saw all the animals, had ice cream cones, and even rode the train. Trace was so excited to go on this field trip he couldn't sleep the night before!

Park City 9/23-25

My dad rented a big condo in Park City for all of us to stay in this past weekend. Everyone was able to make it up for at least part of the time, and we had a blast. Park City was the prettiest I have ever seen. The leaves were starting to change, and were so bright. It was the perfect time for a fall trip! We packed tons of fun into the weekend. Outlets, hot tub, swimming, climbing, alpine slide, alpine coaster, games, movies, and rocky mountain chocolate factory. Amongst all this fun, we also had some sick kiddos. Trace started throwing up at the alpine slides Saturday afternoon, and was one sick little boy until Sunday night. As soon as we fell asleep Saturday night, Porter threw up too. He was better by the time he woke up Sunday morning though.

Roc's Parties

This weekend we celebrated Roc's party with family, and then with his best friends. He has been telling everyone that he is six, and turning seven. It's taken lots of convincing him that he is only three, and still occasionally forgets that he isn't six. He hates that his brothers both get to go to school and he doesn't. So - for his THIRD birthday he had a back to school party. As always we had a fantastic time!

Roc's THREE!!

Seriously where have three years gone? I can't believe that my little Rock star is three! Here are some things Roc does at three.
- Sings none stop. (Never say never, baby, I love to see the temple, scripture power, I like to look for rainbows, A child's prayer, and I am a Child of God.)
-Goes potty "pretty good" in the toilet
-Loves candy and treats
-Climbs and hangs like a monkey
-can kick a soccer ball surprisingly well
-Does karate
-Working on his colors - sometimes knows the perfectly, and sometimes doesn't know them at all. :)
-Still takes awesome naps everyday.
-Loves to swim, and is fearless in the water.
-Gives lots of loves.
-Not affriad of things that maybe he should be (water, heights etc,), but scared to death of mascots and bugs!
-Loves to read books... especially when it's time to go "night, night"
-Talks excellent. The only words he says funny are: "Skelitskin", "snoreboarding", "Yargrit", "Popskistsicle". I love hearing him say these, and probably and giving him a complex, because I ask him to say them all the time.
-Says "my toe does hurt", or what ever is hurting.
-Is 37.5 inches tall (60%)
-Weighs 33 pounds (50%

Cousins Weekend 9-17

We've been talking about having a fun weekend up at the cabin with all Chad's cousins for a few years, and after planning it this time it kind of worked out. Nobody could go Friday night, so instead of cousins weekend, it turned into cousins evening... but we loved getting in one more cabin trip this year - and the company was fantastic! We even got to stay and watch the BYU VS Utah game.

AYSO

It's AYSO time again. Since we had already signed Porter up with AYSO before he made Strikers, he decided he wanted to play on two teams. He is loving playing with the older kids (U10), and on the big fields!
Trace is doing great this year! Chad is coaching his team, and Trace couldn't be happier about it! I seriously love fall soccer!
