Our annual Heritage Day parade bike ride was almost ruined this year. Last night we went out to get our bikes ready for the ride, and found my bike and baby trailer had been stolen! Good thing Chad has an extra bike. He just put Rose in his baby back pack, and the day was saved. Such a fun family tradition... and once again we ended up with way too much candy!
I have been begging for Chad to dig a hole for the tramp for a few years now... little did I know what I was asking him to do. His little 4 hour project has now turned into a renovation of the yard! After 2 days of digging he decided it probably would have been better to have someone do it. Our yard was COVERED in dirt. We have wanted to fix the grade of our backyard for awhile, so we decided to hire someone else to come do all the things we have wanted to get done, done! Here is to hoping we survive construction!
The kids have been wanting to go fishing ever since the weather got nice. Chad and I have been too busy to take them. So what do the boys do? Ask Pa! And Pa made time to make it happen. We are all way too lucky to have this pa in our lives. Don't know what we would do with him!
Porters team tried again at the 3v3 fun. Once again we didn't have too much success, but a lot of fun! Trace had a team too, but for some reason I didn't get a picture of them in their fun green hat trix shirts! Trace's team had to play in a higher division, so they didn't win, but played great!
Chads had to be out of town A LOT lately. So for family night tonight I let the kids invite a friend to Monsters University after soccer practice. Time goes by faster when dad is gone if we stay busy!
Fun times at Seven peaks. We got the pass of all passes again... hopefully we will get back a time or two before summer ends. It was CRAZY busy, but the kids seemed to not notice too much.
The boys were so lucky to get tickets to watch the USA play at Rio Tinto. Chad took Porter and Trace and a few of the kids from Porters soccer game to support the RED, WHITE, and BLUE in a qualifier! They had a blast...
Tiff and Jolley are home from law school!! We got to have our first party by the pool... date night style. Tiff made the yummies dinner, and we had the best laughs! I love my friends.
Hey batta batta... It's baseball time again. This year Trace played machine pitch. As always he had a perma grin the entire time. He had some huge hits, and a some good plays. He especially loved being with mason and poppy!
We had a fun day playing hard for Traces Birthday. We started the day off at Cherry Hill. Then a little Geo Caching. And finished it off with Olive Garden. I love spending the day with my favorite munchkins!
