J & J Field Trip

Porters class went on a field trip today to the nursery. Porter loves plants, so this one was a lot of fun for him. They all got to pick a plant to take home, and porter picked a little tomato plant.

Maria and I ran in the Salt Lake City half marathon on Saturday. It was a perfect day for a good run. We had so much fun and helped each other along the way. We had a huge support group at the end... But we forgot to tell everyone what we were wearing, so out of 11,000 people we were missed. It was still fun to have everyone there!

Check this kid out!

Today I went out to call Porter in for dinner just in time to see him throwing himself into a back flip, and crashing down on his neck... I was impressed that he was giving it a try, but a little worried that he was going to get hurt. But... after a few crashes he figured it out! Way to go kid.

Easter morning was fun for the boys. I love the enthusiasm they have towards things like this. They woke up super excited that the Easter Bunny had been to our house.

And there is still more Easter to be had. Tonight we are going to Grandma and Grandpa Hansen's for dinner.

Easter was a blast at my Mom and Dad's yesterday. The kids had to "earn" their clues by playing all of their favorite things with their Grandpa. Memory Game, Puzzles, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, and Football. Each of the clues would take them to different places through the house until they finally found their Easter surprise. Porter got the game Trouble, and had to play it about 20 times before we could go home. Trace got Madagascar 2... He calls it "Move it, move it". Grandma and Grandpa are so fun.

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

A Bunch of our good neighbor friends invited us over for a Easter Egg Hunt. The kids had so much fun playing together. We played this fun Egg Bowling game, Had lots of good food, and the kids found lots of candy. Thanks Sandalls!

The Dads get away!

Chad, Brett, and Josh snuck away for a QUICK (they left Sunday after Conference, and were home again super late Monday night) St. George golf trip. They had great fun, as always!

Monday night Tiff and I took the kiddos to the Dragon park while the guys were gone. Got to love the good weather while it lasts.

Eggs #2

This is one of my favorite weekends of the year... CONFERENCE. Especially Spring Conference. It's so nice to stay home and watch church with the family on the couch. Conference was wonderful as always and I feel a renewed desire to do what I know is right.
Along with conference always seems to bring good food. Friday night I went up to Logan for dinner with Chads sisters and cousins. We ate at the blue bird and then caught a show. We always have such a good time when we get together.
Last year we started a tradition of going to breakfast (since the boys all go to dinner before the priesthood session). Janet took all of the girls to Cracker Barrel Saturday morning, at it was Delicious.
Saturday night my mom and I always try to plan a get together, but with the three boys it is getting harder and harder. This year we went to Training Table and then back to my house for decorating eggs #2...

Tiff's French Bread

When we had Roc, Tiff brought us the yummiest French bread... So ever since I have been asking her to teach me how. Last night we went over to her house for a bread making lesson. We had so much fun. Yummy.
