Traces Science Camp

After Porters soccer camp, Trace wanted his own camp. We decided a week full of science experiments would be fun - fun - fun!!! We invited a few of his best friends over everyday for an hour each day. The kids were so excited, and were able to stay interested all week.

Day one: Colors

We learned how to mix colors to make new colors.

Day two: Ice, Water, and Reactions

Dry ice was probably the favorite. They could have played with the fog all day! After playing with the fog, we made our own Grape soda.

Day three: Space
We blew up planet Earth balloons with baking soda and vinegar in test tubes. Then we made our own bubble rockets that shot off using alkezeltzer and warm water.

Day four: Weather
Another favorite was the tornado's. We also made home made ice cream.

Day five: Reaction and Crystals
By far my favorite was "blowing up" Diet coke. Way Cool!! We also started sugar crystals on strings...

A few more Pictures... Pretty cute little Scientist don't you think??
