Chad has been wanting to see Secretariat (the horse movie). It's been playing at Kaysville theater, but only at the 9:10 show. I kept telling him it was too late to take the kids to it, and too late to get a babysitter. Saturday night we were out running a few errands. It was almost 8:00, and Chad said that he thought we should go to the show, so after a weak attempt to sway him to go home, we ended up going. To burn the extra hour we had, we took the kids to get ice cream at McDonald's. The movie was fantastic. Trace fell asleep 2 minutes in, but Porter and Roc were glued to the screen the entire time. Even though they were the only kids in the theater, and i felt like a crappy mom, we had a great night!
