Mason's Carnival Party 4/30

Traces Best Bud Mason had a carnival birthday party today. All three of the boys got to go next door and play.play.play!

Hansen Easter campout

Last year Easter was early but we decided to start a tradition of camping out for our Hansen Easter party... It was freezing. This year Easter was late, and we even waited an extra weekend... It was still freezing! We moved the party inside and had a blast. Steve got great prizes to play "camping bingo". The kids all won camping pillows. I won a cool set of camping flatware, and Chad won a candle lantern! We didn't let a cold wet night ruin our fun. Chad set up his little backpacking tent for the boys and him to sleep in. When it was time to go to bed the kids wanted me to come too, so we all smushed into a really small tent... I mean really smushed! In the middle of the night Porters asthma started up because the air was so cold - he pucked all over Chad and they ended up inside :(.

Dino Park 4-28

Tiff and the kids were in town for Hanna's blessing so we got to steal them away for the day! It was a nice spring day so we decided to head to the Dinosaur Park. The kids have fun looking at all the dinosaur things inside, but hands down their favorite part of the park is feeding the fish and playing at the park!
After the park we ditched the kids, and Sarah, Tiff and I got to go to dinner and shopping! I can't wait for the Sundloff's to move home for the summer - the are such great friends!

Easter at Mom's 4-24

For dinner on Easter we headed over to my Mom's and Dad's. They had a super fun "hunt" ready for the boys. This year my mom hid puzzle pieces in eggs around, and each clue lead them to the next egg/puzzle piece. They had to complete certain tasks before pa would give them their next clue. Soccer, baseball, sit ups, baseball, and at the end the puzzle. The puzzle gave them their final clue to their baskets! She had so much fun things all over! Parties at Moms are the BEST!

Easter 4-24

We had a great Easter Sunday. We woke up had a good breakfast and then headed to church. After our church, we headed over to Steve and Janet's ward to hear Steve talk. It's fun getting to hear him speak anytime, but especially when he speaks about our Savior! The kids are getting old enough to understand what Easter is really about, and I think they really enjoyed learning more about Jesus.
After church we ran home to see if the Easter Bunny had been to our house - and he had! This year he made a crazy mess in our house with yarn. Each boy had a different color of yarn that they had to follow through out the house to find their basket! He left Porter and Trace baseball mitts, and Roc a life jacket - and WAY to much candy!

Porters Field Trip 4-19

Another fun filled field trip. This time Porters class got to jump on a school bus, and head to the farm! It's always fun for me to be around Porter and his friends. For the time being - He thinks I'm pretty cool. (More crappy pictures from my cell phone)

Easter eggs

We were able to get a little family night together before Easter to color us some EGGS! My kids love coloring Easter eggs, especially with friends. The Garners came over for dinner, dying Easter eggs, and then a little egg bowling. Sami was the big winner this year :). Love this time of year... now if only the weather will acknowledge that it is the middle of April!

Soccer 4-2

Trace had a bye this week, but Porter's game was FUN. FUN. FUN.

Spring Skiing at it best! 4-1

A few weeks ago my dad took Porter out of school for a fun day of skiing. Porter loved being with my dad and spending the day just the two of them. I didn't go, so in turn, don't have any pictures of the fun day :(.
Today My dad and i took Trace up to Alta for his turn. Trace did GREAT. I can't wait for next year, and am sad skiing is done for the year. It was such a pretty day. I skied with out a coat, gloves, or hat. It was 70 degrees in the valley, the snow was slushy... but it was a great day for some spring skiing. Oh, yeah - It just happened to be April fools day too. My mom packed us a bag of treats. None of them had what they were suppose to have in them! The skittles were full of pasta, and the Cheetos had gold fish and marshmellow treats. Trace thought it was so FUNNY.

Chickee Chick One 3-29

I decided it would be fun to get a baby chick for Roc's play group. I thought I could talk the store into letting me borrow one for a couple hours, but when I went to get it, they said they couldn't take it back after it left the store. I had already told Roc we would get one for him to show his friends, but I knew I couldn't raise a chicken!! So we drove to a farm that is just down the street and asked them if they would adopt our chick after the day. Luckily they said they would... but it wasn't with out tears and tears. Not from Roc, but from Porter! He was so sad that we were going to give the chick away. Sad, but after two hours of crying - I vowed I would never "BORROW" and animal again! All of the kids friends came over and held it and played with it. Mayci named him Chickee Chick 1. Now every time we drive by the farm Roc has to mimic Porters fit... Please can we have the Chick, pretty please??
