Wednesday was Traces "real" birthday, (Porter was convinced that I had lied to him because we had celebrated his birthday at the party on Sunday) so we decided to take a train ride with Grandma Vicki to Salt Lake. Chad has taken traxs to work a couple of times, and so Porter has been excited for his chance to ride the new train. It was a little chilly out, so we decided to head to Discovery Gateway for a fun day indoors.
Swimming with Friends!
Today we spent the day at The Sundloff Pool with Sarah and her kids, Tiff and the twins, and Liz and her kids. How Fun!! Porter was in heaven. The pool is just a perfect depth for him, because he can touch the bottom. It was great practice for him to be able to swim around with out his life jacket on. He jumped off the diving board and he even flew down the slide. Chad decided to take Porter water skiing with him this afternoon, and it was all i could do to talk him into leaving the pool to go to lake!! (crazy kid). Thanks Tiff for such a fun day!
Porters always saying funny things... I like when people put the dialogue in, so here is our first.
Porter: Mom, Did you do the laundry today??
Mom: No, why?
Porter: I'm doomed.
Mom: What do you mean your doomed?
Porter: I don't have any clean underwear.
I don't even know where he came up with that! How fun!
